Volume 8 Number 1 - Winter 2000

The previous issue of Logo Update On Line included an announcement of MindFest: A Gathering of Playful Inventors, which was held October 22 - 24, 1999 at MIT. Gary McCallister, wrote The Kindergarten Model of Education after attending that meeting.

About five years ago a conversation I had with Al Rogers of the Global SchoolNet Foundation led us to jointly sponsor Logo-L, an Internet discussion group for Logo users. Thousands of messages later, Logo-L is still going strong and has been joined in cyberspace by several other Logo listserves. Read Logo Listserves: Connecting with the Global Logo Community to find out what a listserve is and how to join.

It's time to register for the 2000 Logo Summer Institutes in New York City and Grand Junction, Colorado. Read a brief description of these annual workshops in this issue of Logo Update On Line and then get the full story and registration forms.

As in the past, Logo Update is supported in part by advertisements. Please visit the websites of our sponsors - Terrapin Software, Inc. and Logo Computer Systems, Inc. (LCSI).
