Arranging for Logo Foundation
Institutes, Workshops, and Courses

There are two ways to take advantage of our services:

1. You can attend one of our scheduled Logo Institutes, workshops or courses. Check the Calendar of Events for current information, locations, and dates.
2. Arrange with us to come to your school or district. Here are the details:

What We Offer
We can conduct short workshops, courses, or week-long Logo Summer Institutes. We customize a workshop or course to fit the needs of your staff and students, but look at Upcoming Institutes and Current Offerings to get a general idea of what is available.

We offer workshops and courses for teachers, students, or a mixed group. A particularly good staff development strategy is to include teachers in a workshop or course along with students. The teachers may be participants or act as interns assisting and learning from our facilitator.

We come to you. We work in your computer facility. You will need to provide at least one computer per participant. It is best to have to computers networked to each other and connected to the Internet.

We provide written materials, software, and one or more facilitators. The maximum number of participants varies depending upon their experience and the number of facilitators. The limit is generally between 12 and 20.

Most of our facilitators are currently classroom or computer lab teachers. All of them have extensive experience teaching Logo.

What it Costs
The fee for a one-day workshop is $900 for one facilitator. For a one-week Logo Institute the fee is $4,100. An additional facilitator, if needed, is provided for $500 per day.

You also cover the facilitators' expenses for travel, accommodations, and meals. We use local people when possible to minimize these costs.

We provide master copies of written materials for you to duplicate. These are included in the workshop fee. If you prefer, we can do the duplication and have you cover the cost. For most workshops and courses we will also give you Logo project files on disk for copying or installation on your server.
