The Logo Foundation offers a wide range of Logo learning opportunities for educators from brief workshops and presentations to week-long institutes and ongoing staff development programs. You may attend sessions that are already scheduled, or we can arrange to come to your school or district.
Logo Summer Institutes These intensive workshops, generally held during the summer, provide the best introduction to Logo programming and project building. The individualized approach accommodates novices along with people who have years of experience. A wide variety of topics is covered including mathematics, language, animation and multimedia projects, game design, robotics, simulation, and Logo for young children. Each Institute is different, and people often return for two or more summers. You can attend the 2008 Logo Summer Institutes, or we can come to your school or district.
Short Workshops and Courses We offer workshops on a wide range of Logo topics. These are generally from half a day to threes days in duration. Courses cover the same topics with shorter sessions spread out over a period of weeks. Look at the descriptions of our current offerings.
