Robo Expo  is an experience for students of all ages with a shared interest in robotics to come together and pursue similar goals or express themselves uniquely. Build an autonomous robot that can complete a variety of fun and exciting challenges or show off your robotic creation in the exhibit hall.

Robo Expo was an in-person event held in New York City each spring from 2005 through 2019. Cancelled for 2020 and 2021 due to Covid, it returns this year as an online event. This means that you can participate from anywhere in the world. Your students will post videos of their robotic creations during April and May leading up to a culminating Zoom gathering on May 21, 2022.

This brief workshop will give you an overview of what Robo Expo is all about and how you and your students can get ready to participate. Find out about

  • The challenges
  • The exhibition
  • The robot dance party

You will hear directly from the people who created Robo Expo and participated in it over the years. They will answer any questions you have and give you the information you need to get your students ready to join in this event.
