In this hands-on workshop, you will get to explore
CoCo, a
new platform developed by a team of PhD researchers at MIT Media
Lab’s
Lifelong Kindergarten Group. It introduces a
novel paradigm for digital creative collaboration, supporting
- real-time co-creation with peers in various
computational environments such as Scratch and p5.js,
along with built-in live audio and video for both remote
and in-person learning.
- educators to start safe private communities for
learners where only approved members can join and
collaborate together.
- an environment where students can program multiplayer
games, collaborative stories, art, animations, and
physical computing projects with peers using devices
such as micro:bit, Makey Makey, and others.
