Join us to explore how you can gain inspiration from
a favorite artwork or artist, and make meaningful interactive
creations.
In this activity, we will create art-inspired projects using
OctoStudio, a coding app from MIT that works on mobile devices and
Chromebooks, enabling learners to create interactive animations,
stories, and games anytime, anywhere.
In this workshop, you will remix pieces of art - either from another
artist or your own work - by using coding blocks to bring the art to
life. Using the OctoStudio app, you can add text blocks, motion,
sound, and more to transform art work into animated and interactive
projects. You are encouraged to be curious, observe and express
yourself creatively while reflecting different forms of artistic
expression as a way to dive-into the Inspired by Art OctoStudio
activity.
